Beautiful Chédi of Chiangmai

Good place for visiting. Recommend to go during winter time in Thailand to feel cold wind blowing through. The temple is Thai-Lanna style decoration enriched with Thai-Northern cultures. Moreover, there is a coffee shop locating at below the hill before heading up to the temple too.

    Go during sun set
I rented a scooter and drove up around 5pm. At this time there is almost no traffic and allows you to take your time navigating the steep and windy road. If you have a passenger you may want to choose a 150cc bike and above. 2 lookout viewpoints along the way provide nice pictures of the city, even if you don't want to climb the very long staircase to visit the temple at the very top. The temple entrance is 30 Bhat. Dress appropriately for sacred temples and be prepared to remove your shoes. Wondering the grounds for 1.5-2 hours was more than enough time to see everything, insta pics galore, including a beautiful sunset and the best view of Chiang Mai. This amount of time spent allowed for beautiful pictures in daylight and in my opinion after sunset where the golden Temple and statues are most beautiful. Just before sunset the monks gathered and chanted outside and inside the temple which was wonderful to observe.
