Beautiful area next to the aquarium
We had a couple of hours to spare before heading into the aquarium so we decided to check this place out. We were there on a Saturday and there were vendors everywhere selling stuff. We bought homemade cookies which were amazing! The walk by the river was absolutely beautiful and the murals down the stairs was a nice surprise. We didn't have time to walk the whole thing but we did love what we saw. There is no free parking here so you'll have to park in paid lots or in a parking garage and walk over. At least it's free to walk around. I would definitely visit again and next time I plan to book a boat tour as well.

Great strolling or jogging/running
I ran along Riverpark walkway every morning I was in town. Outstanding for all distances desired. I extended runs across pedestrian bridge and back and in other (West) direction on the extension path. Our family enjoyed strolling during day as well when sightseeing or stopping in nearby shops.

A Nice Area
We launched our boat here for a day of fishing. It is a nice well-kept place. Lots of folks were walking, running, and biking very early in the morning and throughout the day. The lighting was good in the hours before sunrise.
