The Ammunition Factory Was Wonderful!
This is truly a unique experience. When visiting Uzice, you're really not going to find anything else like it. You're not visiting a huge city where there is wild nightlife, but a local city with beautiful scenic spots and of course a ton of history from the past. You MUST check out the ammunition space.

Amazing underground ammunition factory hiden in the hill, with biggest Tito's monument in EX YU in front.
Very interesiting museum from ww2 located in the building which was headquarter of famous Uzicka Republika first liberated area in WW2. Consisting of three parts that will guide you through time from Romans to creating the Titovo Uzice modern city favoured by ex president of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito. City have so much history to tell and as a guest of Eco Hostel Republik you have free entrance in museum and Kadinjaca memorial hole!

Best if you know Serbo-Croatian, nice historical exhibition
This museum houses quite a nice collection of partizan miltary equipment, maps etc., and contains also historical exhibition of illegal underground ammunition factory used briefly by partisan movement during the WWII. In the area there is also a monumental statue of Josip Broz Tito, partisan leader and leader of former Yugoslavia, which was once on display on the main square. In front of the museum, there are several pieces of Yugoslav artillery and a tank. A downside is that most of the exhibition has not any comments in English, you can therefore only rely on your guide (which is quite proficient with English language).
