Great for a long afternoon walk
Don’t be put off by the dull name, it’s actually quite an impressive place to see. It has multiple buildings dedicated to some of the great Russian scientific achievements and also has a building dedicated for each of the 16 former soviet republics. The landscaping, gardens, buildings and exhibits will keep you entertained for several hours. It’s an enormous place. I just had an afternoon there and only saw a fraction of it. There are several food courts and places to sit and get a rest too. I would not say this is a must-see in Moscow, but if you have some free time to visit, you won’t be disappointed.

    Renovated beautifully
Came her 3 years ago and parts of it were under renovation. This time it was almost fully renovated, very clean and tidy. Grand entrance through a huge arch, then a main wide park street with a massive Stalin style building featuring the former 16 soviet republics coat of arms. Behind this building is a beautiful golden fountain with 16 female figures (statues) each representing one of the republics. The park is very spacious and grand.
