Long ago and far away in wonderful Kostroma on the Mother-river Volga there was built a beautiful wooden Palace, so fabulous, full of magnificent decorations. A fairy Snowmaiden lives Here. She is a lovely young lady of unbelievable beauty. Whole year long she shows a real fairytale to children and their parents, to all guests from Russia and faraway countries, from every little corner of the Earth. Some fairytale creatures live with Snowmaiden in the Palace: a bogie man with his wife, a cat Bayun, and nurses, who are ready to show the Palace, to play and entertain their guests. This is for sure!

Great place for younger kids
Very Interesting place, but really intended for very young kids! My daughter is almost 10 years and she found the excursion a bit dull. The ice room was great. One comment to the owner, please release the poor squirrel, which is trapped in the cage on the ground floor. The animal is clearly distraught and is suffering. My daughter was very upset when she saw the cage. Thank you!

Nice place but a bit disappointing
I expected a bit more for my 9 years old son than 5 min tour around the yard and 5 min visiting of ice room inside Snowmaiden house for the price I have paid. Perhaps for smaller children it might be of bigger interest.
