Great journey to the history of Colomna's pastila
The tour consist of several parts. The first is a costume performance with the demonstration of traditional pastila's manufacturing. A second part includes tea party with a degustation of different pastila's tasties. A third part is a master-class of cooking a marshmallow accompanied with interesting stories about sweets. And the final part concludes with another performance in the garden. It look like musem of Colomna's pastila, but I had more fun!)

    Thoroughly charming
This museum tour provides a live (often hands-on) demonstration of the making of a traditional Russian candy. Staff members are in period costume, and the building is decorated like it might have been in the 1850s. The tour caps off with tea and a tasting of different pastila varieties. Our English-speaking guide Ekaterina was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. She stayed with us for the entire afternoon and also led us around the kremlin. All in all, this was one of my favorite excursions into the Moscow region.
