Just explore 1st time!
There is so much to take in the first time, so just explore. And it will be free! Then you can tour St. Basel Cathedral and/or inside the Kremlin next time. Stroll through GUM department store as well. Prices are high, but there are some souvenir shops that are reasonaly priced, since it is not at the airport. Metro stops are everywhere, so use it to get around. Before the World Cup, the new lines were designed to be English-friendly. Friends are telling me, the older lines are up-to-date as well.

One of Moscow's musts
In one word - world famous and first grade Moscow attraction. Whether you're visiting the Russian capital for the first time or you're repeating, it's a must do. Kremlin is a Russian word for a fortified medieval town - it's the core of Russia, that was built during the 15 c. Moscow Kremlin has a triangular shape bordered by the Moscow river to the south, Red square to the east and Alexander gardens to the west. The walls are over 2000 m long and the main tower is the Spasskaya tower at the Red sq. Best views are from the new built Floating bridge and Zaryadye park (read those reviews). Plenty to see and do inside the walls.
