The visiting includes degustation with a traditional tea and kalaches (traditional bread) accompanied by a performance about traditional kalach's receipts.

Join the excursion if you can understand Russian!
You can buy the pastry at their corner kiosk and/or join the little excursion/workshop, it does not matter if you come alone or in a small group, surely there would be other people interested too, just register yourself, pay the fee and wait awhile until there are enough people to form a big group. The excursion was great as I learned about the history of the pastry, and the basic of making one. It ended with them serving you a warm freshly baked delicious kalachnaya with butter, and a cup (or more, they gave you a full teapot actually) of hot tea. I just wish my Russian is better but overall, it was worth the visit. The "teachers" who lead the demonstrations made it so fun and they are quite hot so that was a plus point ?
