Always worth a visit with kids
This popular gathering place draws adults and children alike to its recreational offerings, which include gardens, cycling infrastructure, museums, viewing point, cafes, beaches, climbing park, open-air cinema, sports center, observatory, eco-school for kids, open-air dance-floors, tennis courts, table tennis areas, free wi-fi. concerts and festivals etc. In winter the Park turns into a winter wonderland covering its surface with almost 20 000 square meters of the artificial ice.

Show must go on!
I went to that marvellous park in February, just a couple of days ago. Alone. My God, Christmas and New Year festivities seem to still rage on there! I mean, formally they are over, of course, but numerous Xmas trees are still there in front of the main entrance, lavish intricate illumination is omnipresent, the park is thronged with public, a huge skating rink welcomes its guests and the ambience is damn mirthful! A bombastic place! Fantabulous - be it in winter or in summer, in daytime or by night. Strongly recommended any moment you think like going there. (Named after Russian/Soviet writer Maxim Gorky, by the way.)

Outstanding
I travelled the world but never saw a park that comes even close to this one. Very beautiful with tons of activities and great restaurants, it became a must for me to visit almost on daily basis when I am in Moscow. Amazingly, one can have an equally great time being there alone or with family, or with friends. Highly recommended.
