Understandably very busy, great seafood and bakery options. Limited options for those who aren’t a fan of seafood,
Great place to go for lots of different lunch and dinner options, we went back twice to return to Crush Doughnuts and try more flavours. This place would be great for seafood lovers however as we are not it’s slightly more limited. We ended up getting the Zero Zero pizzas which I would say are very expensive for a self service food market, they were delicious but not value for money. Crush Doughnuts was again a little more pricey however I feel these were certainly worthwhile - amazing flavour variety and so tasty we went back the next day for more. The market itself is very busy and you can struggle to find a comfortable place to sit as most of the areas are elevated tables and bar stools. It feels quite crammed and the tables go right up to the food stands so you can struggle to actually view the menus and consider what you want, it would be ideal if they had an online menu or ordering system.

    Good for Solo Travelers
I was in Lisbon on my own for a few days and wanted to experience the local foods without the awkwardness of eating dinner at a restaurant alone. This place was the perfect solution as it has communal dining tables and lots of different foods to try. I came here twice during my trip and enjoyed both meals. The prices here are higher than what you'll spend in a less touristy area, and the options are limited if you're vegetarian.
