Great experience
A lovely place where you can stay for a while with a lesson, not only for the little ones. The staff is great and the explanation of the little human beings which where harvesting and handling to make bread. The final step, is a good surprise for the kids.

Bread Museum (Museu do Pão) in Seia
Last time I was in Serra da Estrela I went to Seia to visit the Bread Museum (open since 2002) unique museum in the world shows the whole process of making bread from the grain to the bread. The museum as four diferent rooms, a fine restaurant, a bar with a great view, a grocery store with typical products from the region. Entrance only costs € 2! Don´t miss it.

Teenage daughter loved it
Place recommended to spend a couple of hours with your kids, especially in a rainy day, mixing the history of Portugal with the bread history. At the end of visit, there is a small tale room with an activity for the younger visitors. No lack of parking place too. Despite the employees been very young, they were **fantastic** with our daughter. We also had some snack in their coffee shop and seated in the balcony, worth it. We did not try the restaurant because we were unaware of it, maybe next time.
