Friendly service
Very friendly welcome in the museum. Although most of explanation is in Portuguese, the lady who tended the museum provided a lot of background and kids got to loom a bit in the workshop atelier.

Unique & educational
The wool museum has 2 parts one concerning the treatment of wool from shearing to weaving and the 2nd part machinery, a movie makes the whole kind of vivid, both ladies taking care of the museum are very friendly and try to make the visit as interesting as possible, I ld say a must when visiting Covilha

Nice museum dedicated to local wool tradition
There are actually two museums - the smaller one which we visited is more about history, the second one more about machines. Really nice, with good graphic representation and short film. Go if you have time in Covilha.
