Impressive and interesting
Expansive site of ruins, in very good condition. As other have stated, it’s great to go with a guide who can explain the area. We went on a Sunday and there was a lot of people, because Mexican citizens get free admission that day. It is so big that we didn’t feel crowded except in a few areas. As others have said, you can get an Uber from the city (for around 700-730 pesos), and the Uber back was harder to secure because we went later in the day (left the city at 10 am). The Uber back was around 300 pesos. You definitely need water and a hat and good walking shoes. There is very little shade and you will be climbing a lot of steep stairs. There are plenty of vendors selling water, hats and souvenirs in and out of the grounds. As others have also said, you can no longer climb the big pyramids of the Sun & Moon, but there is still plenty of climbing and opportunities to view the area from elevated areas.

Must visit place
We went really early in the morning (although most places we read say it opens at 9, it really opens at 7am). Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks because it will be a long day. All pyramids are easy to climb, they have handrails and most of the steps are good. We payed a tour guide (800 pesos for 1.5h) we learned a lot, but we can get a much cheaper tour guide (500-400 pesos). I recommend Ruben if you know a bit of Spanish, his whatsapp is 5577689005. He was really helpful, showed us where to eat and go even though we didn't book a tour with him. He also had really nice information cards to show how the pyramids where in the past. We asked how much he charge and he said it was (500 pesos for a 2h tour, so we learned we overpaid ugh). If you buy gifts there don't forget to negotiate. Some things can go from 800 pesos to about 150 if you know how to negotiate. And also don't stop and buy from the first guy you see. Walk around. I saw some people selling the same thing for 4x the price.
