Sunday morning bike rentals on Paseo de la Reforma
So lovely. We rented bikes from Ecobici (115 pesos for a 1-day membership) and biked from el Auditorio Nacional to the zócalo and back. Took about 2 hours total. Sunday mornings 1 lane of the avenue is blocked off for just runners/bikers, etc. Thousands of people exercising, El Angel de la Independencia, Alameda Central. Palacio de Bellas Artes. Just excellent!!

Closed to traffic on Sundays, great time for dog spotting
A beautiful avenue filled with lovely statuary, landscaped gardens and lots of trees. It makes for a nice walk to Chapultepec park. If you’re not much for walking, the number 7 bus goes down this street. Note, the central lanes are closed on Sunday’s. On these days the entire city comes out on bikes, rollerblades and scooters to ride down Reforma. It was great for dog spitting. I saw four Pomeranians on bikes, a cat in a backpack and a Doberman with TWO gold chains.
