Beautiful cultural icon
One of the most beautiful performance venue in the world. Highly recommend visiting for a cultural event since the interior can only be seen by purchasing a ticket. The Ballet Folklorico de Mexico is good but very pricey. The Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de México is a better option classical music fans but has infrequent concerts.

Great Murals
The exterior of this art museum is magnificent and a must-see in itself. However, as of early October 2021 all of its galleries were closed for viewing except for the murals covering the interior walls of its various floors. This was blamed on COVID , which I still cannot figure out. Nevertheless, the murals in themselves were worth the cost of admission (Mex$75). They were marvelous and included ones by Rivera, Siqueiros, Orozco, Camarena et al. The interior architecture was also very beautiful. Overall, even with the significant closure of the various galleries, I would still recommend a visit.
