    Tours now available, awesome murals
    Tours of the building and Diego Reviera murals are now easy to get. I read all the notices about a two week wait on tours, and only 50 people per day, but something has changed. We went in a door across the street from the north side of the Palace, no signs to identify the office. There is the ticket office, still with the “two week wait” signs. We were one of several couples that walked in and got tickets immediately. We had to let them keep our drivers license while we were on tour. Awesome murals and a great tour guide that had lots of information on the murals. 60 minutes and free, no tipping alllowed.

    How to get in (maybe) last minute
    As Mark M of Milwaukee wrote on 1-26-23, find the open door (after 10 AM) opposite the midpoint of the north facade of the palace and ask at the taquilla (ticket booth) to be put on the waiting list for the 11 AM free guided tour of the palace and Diego Rivera murals. We did this at 10:45 AM this morning and it worked. Otherwise, we were told we'd have to sign up for a tour 5 days later. The tour is terrific and the murals are so beautiful and informative.
