Nice place to come with kids
a family friendly activity. It is a beautiful place and the girls who work here are dress as they used to back in the early 19 century. When you visit the museum you learn how the traditional " ate de Morelia" is made. And you can participate and taste your creation...

Nice and sweet!
This is a must visit when in Morelia. You will have the chance to see how a traditional sweet from Morelia is made and you can also taste it!. The place is full of history with photographs and old machinery. There is also a shop to buy some typical sweet from the area.

Top of the tourist stops. We went twice
Be prepared to spend a good hour checking out this unique shop and museum. It's certainly a "must do" when in Morelia. Only a few small blocks down the main street from the Cathedral. Try and buy the local favourites. The staff are dressed up in unique costumes, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
