    A Must See
Someone told me about this Mask Museum, and I'm so happy he did. This is an incredible collection of ceremonial masks from indigenous peoples throughout Mexico. Bill explains his collection then escorts you to his museum. You are free to wander through his exhibit as long as you would like. The masks are well documented, and he has videos of ceremonies where the masks are used. His wife also has a collection of folk art and explained the various artifacts and cultures of the people who made them. Entrance is via the Casa de la Cuesta B&B. Reservations are required. There is no ticket price but it was suggested that a donation of 100 Pesos be given. The owner of the Mask Museum donates that money to a non-profit organization. I highly recommend a trip to the Mask Museum

"A face of Mexico Not to be Missed"
This was one of the most spectacular tours of our trip. Set in a beautiful bed and breakfast with such a knowledgeable and fun guide, owner and collector of over 600 masks. Very interesting and intriguing to see all the different and unique masks from all over Mexico. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to call and book ahead as you cannot just walk in for the tour. We purchased the book to bring home and continue to read and learn more about the people who wore these masks, their dances and the communities they live in. Don't pass up this extrodinary tour!
