Stunning Cathedral
Our hotel was located in Zocalo Central right next to the Cathedral. Really incredible architecture and a must see if you're in the area. We ate breakfast every morning in our rooftop hotel restaurant with a spectacular view of the sunrise over the Cathedral. Highly recommend checking it out!

Stunning Interior Amazing History
There is no cost to enter the cathedral but you can pay a little if you wish to see the sacristy and it's fabulous paintings. We visited the Cathedral and wandered around viewing the many side chapels but to experience the cathedral in action you need to attend a mass. We attended at 12 noon on Sunday. The mass was celebrated by the archbishop and we got to hear one of the building's two large pipe organs. The so called King High Alter is a wonder to behold. Highly recommend a visit to this church.
