Frogs,fish and snakes.

If you like to see frogs,fish and snakes then this is a good spot.Coming from Kilkis as soon as you reach the lake turn left towards the Macedonian border.Where you turn there is a track towards the lake.There is a brick wall to walk along where you will see frogs,fish and snakes.You must be quiet and stay still and they will croak away and the snakes will slither through the water catching small prey.Also you will see other brick walls where fisherman are.You can get to there by driving left towards the border and you will see a large building where you park and wald to an old Jetty and the fisherman walls.

    A lake that unites two countries
    the place is great- especially on a spring day for a stroll along the lake coast - there are plenty of fisheries there to taste the fresh fish of the lake- really delicious!

    between skopia and greece!
    this lake is isolated, but just 20 minutes ride from Kilkis. Not much to see around, but you can have a coffee in the only nearby cafe. Still you can pass by the borders to the other side of the lake (More crowded).
