It's a magic scenery. Just 6km from Edessa waterfalls to the direction of Florina you can find waterfalls springs. The ancient wetland of "Tiavos" now is a great shelter for over 190 species of bird fauna and 40 species of fish fauna. Try on wooden bridge and then in the lake using the local boat called "plava". Be silence and watch carefully Swans rytmic dancing. There are 3 villages surrounding. Using a unique route between cherry trees enjoy the taste of nature silence. Ancient Via Egnatia passed from here also. Great experience especially at Spring time / Cherry trees floration.

    Breathtaking
    I had not seen anything more beautiful than this area. The lake is beautiful, filled with wildlife, swans and many species of birds. Go further up to get the best view of the lake, mountains and surrounding areas. I didn't want to leave. I could look at it all day.

    Eating by the lake
    By the lake there is a very nice restaurant called LImni where you can eat local fish as well among others with great view to the lake, Also you can walk to St.George church near by
