What a highlight.
UNESCO sight well worth visiting if you enjoy a decent walk. It is off the beaten track, so you need a car to take the drive and then you need energy to take the walk; which was through light snow for us. The walk was easy and enjoyable (we were the only ones around). I don't think the track is used often, but I would encourage anyone who had the opportunity to use it. The view at the end when the tower is reached is absolutely magnificent. For me, this was the highlight of Jyvaskyla. Loved it.

Worth the climb
Quite a climb to the top, 1.000 metersof which parts are quite steep. It was well worth it though, the view from the observation tower on the top was stunning.
