Busy bridge
This 480-meter long bridge completed in 1989 connects the city center via Lutakko to Kuokkala. When completed, it was Finland's fourth-longest road bridge. The bridge has very busy car traffic. Ylistö pedestrian bridge is much nicer for walking. Both have panoramic lake views.

Great views of Jyväsjarvi
It is great place to see Jyväskylä. In the winter its a wonderful place to watch the ice iceskaters on the lake.

Take a selfie and admire the sunset here
Kuokkala bridge (Kuokkalan silta) in Jyväskylä is 480 meters long and 15 meters high. There are observation platforms for walkers on the bridge. This is a wonderful place to take photos and admire the sunset. Notice also that they is a very interesting sculpture, which hangs under the bridge. It is a swing and a person (175 centimeters tall) who is swinging. The sculpture is made of glass fiber and wood (sculptor: Seppo Uuranmäki, 2002).
