Relaxing

I had a coffee, it was delicious. Nice lake view from the veranda. Coffee was 2.7 Euro. They have very nice ice creams too.

Harbor with many activities
Lutakko Harbor is the northernmost harbor of Lake Päijänne. It is located near the Jyväskylä railway and bus station. On our visit, the weather was cloudy with rain showers. There were very few people and most of the activities were closed. In the summertime, I can imagine the harbor transforming into an outdoor living room for locals and tourists. There are many cafes and restaurants. Some onshore and some on board the boats. You can take part in lake cruises, play minigolf or do sup boarding. While walking along the shore, there are play areas for children and fitness points for adults. There are many festivals and concerts on the nearby Lutakko Square.

This is the must place in summer
Jyväskylän Satama (Jyväskylä Harbor) is extremely beautiful in summer. You see charming old boats there. You may also take part in lake and canal cruises. They even have lunch and dinner cruises. There are also restaurant and cafeteria boats and other restaurants or cafeterias in the harbor. Taste at least delicious ice-cream or waffles. Besides, there are some interesting statues or monuments in the harbor. Follow the promenade and you even find a small sandy swimming beach near Lutakonpuisto Park.
