Jyvaskyla City Hall, Central Finland, Finland
3.5 (3 reviews) Spent Ranking #26 in Jyvaskyla Points of Interest & Landmarks • Government Buildings
Beautiful building
When the City Hall was completed in 1899, it was a prominent Renaissance Revival style building in a town of wooden houses. The field between the red-brick City Church and the City Hall served as a marketplace until 1931. Today, the City Council has its meetings in the Great Hall on the first floor. Sometimes there are guided tours where you can see the interiors.

City hall
Quite nice building. Empire style or is it jugend? Anyway right next to the church and the park. When walking by it is worth to look at.

One of the first stone buildings in Jyväskylä
Fine old building on Vapaudenkatu. As you walk up Asemakatu you will come directly to City Hall. It is worth admiring the building from the outside, even if you cannot enter.
