Varazdinska Katedrala Uznesenja Blazene Djevice Marije Na Nebo, Central Croatia, Croatia

4.0 (23 reviews) Spent < 1 hour Ranking #5 in Varazdin County Churches & Cathedrals

A BIG surprise!

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but go in and be amazed by what you see on the Alter (picture attached). Light a candle while you're there!

    Beautiful
The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary also called Varaždin Cathedral built in the 17th century by the Jesuits. It got transformed from church into cathedral by the Pople John Paul II in 1997. It is not open the whole day, but you can see the inside via the glass door.
