Iconic Building
Saint Mark's Church uniquely colorful tiled roof makes it a Zagreb icon due to its signature colorful tiled roof. It is one of the oldest buildings in the city dating from the 13th century. Unfortunately, during our visit in October 2021, there was metal barricade and we are kept on a distance.

Crkva sv. Marka
As for the Cathedral, as of October 2022, also St. Marks Church can be viewed only from the outside, since there are renovation works going on, due to the damages the church suffered in the 2020 earthquake. It's a small church in large square. The church was built in 1499, and it's roof is unmistakable, with colourful roof tiles depicting the coat of arms of Croatia and Zagreb.
