An honor to visit
The Marian Shrine of Marija Bistrica is a beautiful and serene place, a true testament to the enduring faith of Croatian people. We especially enjoyed the outdoor mass held in the outdoor church of the martyr Alojzije Stepinac (located just below the Basilica), beneath the gentle hills where the Path of the Cross lies.

The national shrine of Marija Bistrica has a very special place in hearts of Catholics in North-West Croatia. Small town is completely in service of pilgrims. If you are a religious person you must visit. If you are just only globe trotter also is nice to come and visit the place :)
