Great for everyone who'd like to see something different
Overall experience was great. Nice place to visit with your family and kids or as a couple and learn about naive art. Great for everyone who would like to see something different and learn about naive art and history of rural life in continental part of Croatia.

Very nice display of the birth of Croatian naive art
This is the place that features „birth“ of Croatian naive art. It is the home of both Ivan and Josip Generalić and you can see a large amount (more than 100) of their works exhibited in two objects. You can also buy some of the reproductions and graphics. The place has a really nice guide (at least we had one) who gave us a great personal tour of not only paintings and their history, but as well as the Generalić's tradition of creative life and art. The place itself is a bit out of major roads network, but definitely well worth try, as the entire village (Hlebine) is one large naïve art installation (you can also visit other galleries and ateliers of well-known painters of Croatian naïve art. If in the area, but even if a bit off and want to see some real art and artists life, this place is a must.
