Large Baroque castle built in 1780.
After visiting 13th C Garic Grad and the 1967 Monument to the Revolution of the People of Moslavina, we drove 50 km E to the small village of Daruvar, to walk around this large Baroque castle built in 1780. Although it, and its wine cellar (accessed separately to the side), was closed, the parkland was open with several pictures and signs in English. In the back was the spectacular male Ginkgo tree planted in this period and is now protected by the state as the oldest/largest in the country. This is a nice quiet area to enjoy a picnic.

Interesting castle
It's one of only two castles in county. It has interesting history. It is possible to get excellent guided tour around the castle. In front of the castle there are two trees of gingko which are very big and protected as natural heritage. One tree is male and another female.
