This Guillermo Valencia was President !! The building is much less interesting that the "other" museum But the history with the excellent guide is just as interesting

To honor former president Guillermo Leon Valencia
Not to be confused with the museum of the poet Guillermo Valencia, a few blocks away. This small museum is dedicated to the son of the poet, who was president of Colombia from 1962 to 1966. There are a few rooms with photos of the president (meeting other VIPs and holding speeches, his wife and children) and texts in Spanish elaborating on his political career as leader of the Conservative Party. His tomb is in the courtyard. After leaving the house I tried to summarize the achievements of his presidency and could not. The exhibits are mainly about his official functions. He even was a diplomat in The Hague (Netherlands) at some point. Hence, his nose struck me as very special. Free admission.
