Calm and luke-warm waters, the artifically constructed reservoir by the Lehman family (40´s) is now home to a bounty of migratory birds and other interesting avifauna, wildlife and birds. The lake itself, can be swam in its entirety from Magdelena´s house to the , red home in the middle, Finca La Nirvana where they offer good accommodation and traditional food, Ajiaco y Sancocho. Both sides of the humedal, offer boat service and camping. 7km from Panamericana, Well-signed.
