Great Gaudi Centre for those spending a day in Barcelona
My Hubby and I have been to Barcelona a few times and seen most of the moderism sites around the city. The tour guides have always been pretty imformative but we really wanted to know more about this wonderful guy. We visited Reus on a 2euro bus trip while staying in nearby Salou. The town of Reus is wonderful with some lovely shopping and some nice Ramblas and cafes. The Gaudi centre is right in the heart of Reus a short walk from the bus route in a lovely plazza square. the staff were very good and spoke good english. They showed us the best place to start and gave us each a head set and set it to english. The exhibits were good and the information was very interesting. They have a movie that runs in differnt laungages and the staff member actually came and found us when she was running the english version. there was a group of spanish school children there when we visited and the staff were very good at keeping them together while other visitors were near by. they have a lift to all levels and lots of seating for people who are less mobile. finish your visit with lunch on the top floor roof terrace restaurant. Its Michelin recommended and has a stunning view of the city and square. A must for catalonian visits!

    Very well presented
A very well interpreted guide and insight into the works of Gaudi. Almost feels like it should be in Barcelona but Reus rightly claims Gaudi. I liked the way the audio guide automatically connected to the different parts of the exhibition.
