Wall views

Decent walk from downtown, but a nice view and a little quieter. There were maybe 8-10 people at a time there while I was, it's a few columns set up on the side of a hill with an overlook of the town. *They* say it's the best view of the walls of town, and I trust them. I suggested a modification to tripadvisors location. In the meantime, Google knows where the right place is. Tripadvisor's location was wrong by a lot.

Spectacular overlook
Don't miss this amazing overlook over the walls of Avila. And, before you decide this is a tourist trap, it's actually been a stop for tourists and other visitors for hundreds of years. We found that we got the best pictures by moving to the rocks just below the Four Posts rather from the platform itself.

Birds eye view of the city
Visiting here we got a good vantage point of the city . Big sign of Avila . The 4 post pillars with a cross in the middle . Not many tourists made us spend a short but quality time admiring the place.
