Amazing private collection of classic cars
My autophile husband observed that the museum was missing a lot, but when you consider that this was somone's private collection, the cars are in mint condition (external), and there is 100 years of history in cars it really is amazing. Along with the Art Deco museum, this one gives Salamanca extra points for offering something unique and a departure from traditional classic art and architecture (it has that too).

Great even if you're not into cars.
This is on the opposite side of the road to the beautiful Casa Lis (Art Nouveau and Art Deco Museum) and you can buy a two-for-one ticket (4.00€) from the Tourist Information Office in Plaza Mayor. Wonderful collection of vehicles laid out as a timeline of development. There are examples of many ‘classics’ (no spoilers, go and see for yourself!) and the condition of the vehicles is remarkable. I’m not a ‘car nut’, neither is my wife, but we both found it very interesting. Well worth a visit
