Loved it!

The museum has the wellknown as the Sixtine Chapell of the Romanesque Art because of the 11th century romanesque frescoes, and the mythical chalice related by a recent research with the Holy Grail .

    Short visit
This is a place that is recommended by all travel guides about Leon but you can visit it very quickly, it is small, there is not much to see. In 5 minutes you are finished. It costs no entrance. The seats have a heating system, my friend said it is the only church with heated seats in the world? Well, cool.

My favorite tour in Leon. It was exquisite.
As Americans we knew there could easily be a language barrier when it came to touring the best things to see in Leon. We were prepared for that. I have a minimal amount of Spanish, and our son with whom we were visiting has enough to function and communicate. We entered the gift shop of the Pantheon, to engage a tour and signed up for one in Spanish, thinking that seeing what was there would be good enough. We queued up for our tour at the appropriate time, then were asked to stand aside and wait. The good people behind the counter had gone to the effort of calling in an English speaking guide for us! We were enthralled by what she showed to us and related about the ancient history of the area as well as giving us an image by image interpretation of the 12th century unretouched frescos in the burial area of the pantheon. It was one of those moments that was indelibly imprinted on one's mind as one of the greatest visions of a lifetime.
