Casa de las Conchas
Interesting building in centre of Salamanca, what makes it stand out are the shells covering the facade, a symbol of the Order of Santiago. A marker for the Way of St James pilgrimage route can be seen on ground outside. It is free to enter and now houses a public library. There is large courtyard and interesting architecture. Worth a visit when exploring the beautiful city of Salamanca.

A touristic visit, should include this building from XVI century. In the centre of city
Salamanca , the old University, and la casa de Las conchas. A building from .ca 1550, with some 300 shells. In front of the Uni Pontificia, 10 minutes walking to the Salamanca University and 15 minutes to the cathedral
