Birthday treat
My husband booked us into the restaurant here for my birthday dinner recently. The convent is a beautiful building with a gorgeous facade and the restaurant was lovely. We both very much enjoyed each of our three courses, but especially the mushroom and asparagus entree. The staff were very friendly and efficient and helped make it a memorable night.

Wow...!
This place is not exactly on the tourist trail, but worth the detour. What a building with lovely landscaping. Really it's one of the best public buildings in Leon AND nearby is the old bridge over the river which is also quite scenic. Don't miss this place...

Magical
Stayed here two days. The building contains numerous features of the original monestery. Our room was upgraded to a third floor room facing the plaza. The room contained two beds with testers above. The bathroom contained the largest number of accoutrements I have ever see. The door of our room was spectacular carved wood with small scenes painted on them. Original midieval art is located throughout the building. In our arched window was a stone statue. The service from the front desk, restaurant, and service staff was excellent. While it has an ancient feel, it still provided current resources such as wifi. The facility contains a museum and thrre is a church directly connected to the Parador. We will come here again
