World's Largest Teeter Tawter, Illinois, United States

Billed as the largest teeter totter in the world, it really is impressively large at around 100 feet long and made of steel and pressure treated lumber. It won’t actually rock back and forth until they get a big group on, unlock the chains, close the gate at the end and get the group to go back and forth. Still, very cool

    It actually totters
We didn't come on a day that it was open, but apparently it actually totters. You can walk on it when the gate is open and it does wiggle quite a bit. We spent the evening driving/walking around Casey looking at all of the big things. The city of Casey has a website where you can see the location of all of the world records/big things they have. I'd recommend getting that first.

    It's Giant
Located across the street from the World's Largest Wind chime. I admit I wasn't sure what it was until I was told. I think that's because the flowers hide the middle part were it would make it go up and down. If you walk on it, you'll actually feel it move some as you walk to the other end. Don't worry, it's stationary so it doesn't go up and down while you're on it. They landscaping around it is very beautiful.
