Chill out
I have rated Tyrell bay as excellent but it all depends on what you are looking for. We have been to Carriacou 3 times and end up spending a lot of time here, there is nothing to do but drink some jack (jack iron the local rum) and chill out. the water is warm clear and clean and is usually as flat as a mill pond. if you want somewhere to chill out this is the place. there are a couple of restaraunts but dont expect anything fast. Carriacou is slow, laid back and "far from the madding crowd"

Time to catch up with the ferry!
Now that the Osprey has relocated from Hillsborough to Harveyvale, it is time that Tyrell Bay reacted to this opportunity. There is one new large supermarket and a new restaurant. Other than that it is the same dusty grubby little town. Little effort made to collect litter or broken glass (still found in the sea!!). Some public conveniences would be nice, seeing as the day trippers are trapped unless they take a taxi. Use this opportunity to expand your horizons. What about a bank? You have had over a year to start your improvements.
