Great National Park Visitor Center and trails
This is a wonderful part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. They have helpful maps, clean bathrooms, ample parking. We enjoyed hiking the Salt Pond Trail. There were other trails we could have gone on, but we were too tired. There was a nice roadmap to get us to the overlook of the ocean. The parking at the ocean beach was limited due to construction. We could walk to a lighthouse nearby. The signs along the trails were interesting. A short drive away is the site of the Three Sisters lighthouses which are different from the lighthouses along the Chesapeake Bay.

    Go, and Visit
On the day we visited in late May 2021, the building was closed due to Covid. You have to walk up to a window to speak to a ranger and get information. Bathrooms exist here. The parking lot is big, yet, my guess is that the spaces fill up quickly during peak travel. From this parking lot, you have access to the walking trails. View the salt marsh and woodlands. Go birdwatching. Check yourself for ticks.
