Gorgeous beach to walk and take pictures
Absolutely gorgeous! Looks like right out of a painting and as gorgeous as the movies depict. I'm jealous of the homes that call this their backyard. Across the street is the Chatham Lighthouse. Parking is available right in front of the beach (payment required) and there is a placard explaining some of the history of the beach. Next time, I'm splurging on a hotel in this area.

Wonderful beach
Stopped here to look at the lighthouse and wandered to the beach. It was quite empty on a March weekday but I suspect this place is packed during the summer. Took our Golden Retriever with us and threw the ball around. Did not venture into the chilly water. We’re used to water from Hawaii at almost twice the temperature. Would definitely return. Enjoy

Quiet and Remote
We stayed at the Chatham Inn that was a short 5 min walk to the beach. I don't think there were more than 50 people on the beach and it was a picture perfect 80 degree day. If you want a quiet stretch of sand to read a book and enjoy the day...this is it.
