A small lake off the beaten path
Went to visit this place while staying in Cao Bang. SInce the lake is of the beaten path you need a motorcycle to get there, which can be rented in Cao Bang. The lake is situated in a vally in the Trà Lĩnh District, on the way to Ban Gioc. The views are OK at the lake, but the road there is very scenic and well worth the ride. Also, if you go 20 minutes north of the lake there is a river passing through a local village which is very scenic and aboslutely worth the visit.

Lake with no water
Perhaps the incorrect season, but we had to pay 60,000 VND per person to visit a lake that was devoid of water. What a rip-off.
