Experience on different level!

As my young Son learned about United Nations, so we wanted to take him to a tour to real UN complex. We booked VIP tour. We were lucky that on that day some of Salle /meeting rooms were not occupied, we even had a chance to have direct view on the meeting from the upper floor. It was interesting to see and also be able to hear what’s exactly being discussed on the forum using the earphone which accommodate 6 working languages in the UN. Our guide, Ms Alice was acknowledgeable and kept us well informed. She was also very nice. Also the other 2 ladies who picked us up in front of the gate at the entrance. They were also nice and friendly. The historical building in the UN is currently under renovation, so some places we cannot access. But it doesnot reduce the meaning of the tour. For us, this tour enhanced our knowledge about UN and for our young Son on how he view the world.

    Knowledgeable experience
The entrance is opposite Red Cross Museum, you will have to pay around 15-16 CHF per person. After security check, your identification is scanned and you are given temporary ID. You may opt for any of the available language(English, French etc) for the tour with guide. The tour is very knowledgeable, takes around 1 hour, you get to see conference rooms/auditorium (both new and old), it’s always an honor to visit such place. There is a souvenirs shop inside. It’s must see if you are in Geneve. It’s not too far from Broken Chair.

    Buildings are Beautiful
Let me take you back to 2009 when I went on the tour .You will discover the Palais des Nations, a unique building, formerly the headquarters of the League of Nations. The Palais des Nations, an outstanding testimony to twentieth century architecture, is situated in the beautiful Ariana park in Geneva, Switzerland. The Commonwealth meeting was held in UN Geneva that year, we were fortunate to see the preparations being done for the meeting and also we had the chance to see the Commonwealth meeting room
