Adventure!
Okay. First off, this is an adventure just to get to the top of Schilthorn. You take a bus to town and then like four different cable cars. Each stop has a small village that you can sightsee at, or hike up. The cable cars hold many people and it is standing only so beware of pushers and shovers. They really ruin it. However, your reward is the most gorgeous mountain views!!! Just stunning. I skipped the whole 007 exhibit because it was no interest but did get a chuckle out of the Bond themed toilets. The outside observation desk is expansive and does not distract from the views. Inside, there is a gift shop and a small food station - I highly recommend the cheesecake type dessert. There is a thrill walk that sounded fun but was closed at the time (either because it was early or due to the hefty snowfall).

BREATHTAKing!
This was worth every penny of the $100 to take the gondola cable car 10,000 into the sky to see the 360 degree view. Breathtaking Swiss Alps is a bucket list item that if it is not on your list now...it should be! The view from the sitting area is great but you HAVE to walk down the stairs and along the path you that your on the edge of the mountain. It is a place that I could have stayed forever. Then if you are daring, which we were because I can't go somewhere and not try it all, there is a path that you can walk along the edge under the restaurant and viewing area. They have a balcony area that is metal flooring open so that you can see hundreds of feet below your feet and also a cable tight rope that you can walk over and even a glass walkway so that you see nothng but the cliffs below. It is quite an experience and levels of comfort with your fear of heights for everyone!
