My personal experience in Lake Biel on the 06th of August 2020
It was a wonderful experience seeing and feeling the splendour of Lake Biel. It was on the 06th of August, 2020, when I was able to pass by Lake Biel and being able to savour the scent of nature. I was mesmerised by it because it was so clean, clear and blue. If a traveller would want to spend more time there, one should take a cruise experience. I would have spent more time cruising the whole neighbourhood within the lake, well, next time.

On the border of the two language regions
Lake Bienne or Lake Biel - Lac de Bienne en Français, or Bielersee auf Deutsch - is located on the border of the French and German language regions in Switzerland. Two 'must see' places on the Lac/See are Le Landeron/Landern (which is in the Neuchâtel canton, on the border of the Bern canton) and La Neuveville/Neuenstadt (which is in the Bern canton). Le Landeron is a quaint village, with gelato coloured houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, built around a rectangular square. At each end, the Fontaine du Vaillant and the Fontaine de Saint-Maurice - both listed as Swiss heritage sites of national significance - stand guard. The Croix Du Bourg - also a Swiss heritage site of national significance - is located in between the two, in the middle of the square. As well as the two fontaines and the croix, the Chapelle Sainte-Anne, the Town Hall with its chapel are on the list of Swiss heritage sites of national significance - while the entire town of Le Landeron is part of the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites. The locals are very friendly. One, recognising me as Australian by my Blundstone boots, was keen to engage us in conversation about our respective travels. Like Le Landeron, the entire old town of La Neuveville is part of the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites. Located on the shore of Lac de Bienne/Bielersee, it looks across to the Île de St-Pierre/Sankt Petersinsel - where writer and philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau said he spent the happiest time of his life. The old town of La Neuveville is larger than that of Le Landeron. Entering from the lake side through the Tour de Rive - which, despite many modifications, still carries marks of the 14th and 15th centuries - you find yourself in the Rue du Marché, which is the centre of the old town. With its two Fontaines Des Bannerets (dating from 1550 and on the list Swiss heritage sites of national significance) and the Tour Rouge at the northern end (the lower parts of which date from the founding of the town in 1313 to 1318), the Rue du Marché is surrounded by a twist of mostly cobbled streets, characterised by interesting buildings with colourful facades from the gothic and baroque periods. After a hard day sightseeing, enjoy a cold one sitting in the late afternoon sun on the terrace of the Restaurant Au Tonneau.
