Grindelwald- amazing sounds and sights

The key element of the First Aerial Cableway is the cableway with six-seater gondolas travelling from Grindelwald up to First via Bort and Schreckfeld. The gondola cableway has a capacity of up to 1,200 persons per hour with a travelling time of approximately 25 minutes. Aside from the gondola cableway, Firstbahn AG also has three chairlifts and two ski lifts.

Grindelwald- amazing sounds and sights
The cable car going up was a nice slow ride and so soothing as we hear the cows ringing their bells as they graze on the meadows below. Then when we got to the First, such an amazing sight of tall mountains all around. The weather was perfect, not so cold, so it was nice to walk around. Got lunch at the restaurant and enjoyed the birds swooping on leftover breads, watched some guys paragliding, while hubby and daughter walked up to Lake Bachalpsee.

Fabulous Experience at First Grindlewald
Amazing day at Grindlewald First. Purchased my tickets prior to going via the app. I booked with one activity but wished I had purchased more. Started off Paragliding from there in the morning. I then went back up and did the First Glider ride which was so much fun. I would also have liked to do the First Flyer and maybe the mountain carts. I had to wait around an hour in the queue for the First Glider and the First Flyer was completely sold out by 11am. I would suggest going as soon as the mountain is open. I also did the cliff walk which is so much fun and had a lovely lunch at the mountain top restaurant. The views are amazing from First. I visited many mountains on my trip but this one was my favourite. The scenery is spectacular with the added benefit of beautiful cows swinging their bells.
