Great place to visit and full day outing
Arnensee is a beautiful lake in the Swiss mountains and mostly avaiable only in the summer. You can catch one of the buses driving up to the lake from Gstaad and back (limited number). The walk around the lake is amazing and easy doable with a stroller too. Makes you feel being in Canada

Easy and scenic walk, accessible by car in summer
The Arnensee is a lake at approximately 1500m, above Feutersoy. To access it, take road from Gstaad to Gsteig, in Lauenen the lake will be indicated on the right. Road up is well maintained, one has to throw coins into a machine to get passed an automatic gate. Drive up is about 15 minutes of relatively easy driving. At the lake, there is a restaurant called Huus am Arnensee, for which there are comments in Tripadvisor. It's possible to walk around the lake, mostly very flat, no danger at all, easy even for younger kids. Takes a good hour. On the opposite end of the lake, i.e. not the one with the restaurant, one can go for a swim... this is a mountain lake and it's accordingly cool.

Very Nice Alpine Lake
There is not easy to get there but it has a merit: you can walk along its shore you can take a sun bath or even swim There is also a restaurant to quell your thirst
