Great place to pass some time
We decide to leave Bilbao for a couple of hours before we drove back to get our ferry home. This place is about a half hour up the A8 towards Santander. Loads of good underground parking and plenty of places to look around from the Marina, to the towns back streets to the cafes and restaurants. Great photo opportunity as well.

very helpful
I didn't have anything from Bilbao and arrived by the train ....asked and was told where to find the tourist office ....I encountered a very nice and helpful lady, she went out of her way and up a ladder to get me some special brochures for Bilbao, an excellent service

On the promenade
The office is in an easy to find location on the promenade immediately along from the small harbour area. I only popped in for a local map as didn’t need their services to find accommodation or advice on restaurants. The girl on reception was friendly and helpful. Afterwards you can continue to stroll along the promenade towards Playa de Bazomar and the small/well maintained Parque Cotolino at the very far end, from where you get a good view across the bay back towards town.
