Guided Visit

This is a great museum in Santander. It took me a while to find it because it is located in a hidden street. I highly recommend the guided visit. The guy that showed us the museum was very knowledgeable about the Prehistoric period and the different artifacts. The visit started at 5.15 p.m. and lasted two hours.

    Fascinating and informativs
Excellent museum with lots of bones and artefacts that are thousands of years old! Lot's of interactive equipment too and very informative! Anyone who is interested in prehistory should visit this museum and Cantabria in itself as the region hosts many caves with prehistoric art. Oscar who worked there was super helpful and went above and beyond in helping me retrieve a lost item but all in all staff were friendly. Thank you for the experience!

    Really Impressive
This excellent Museum manages to tick all the boxes. Its well planned, thoughtfully laid out, great displays and an informative mix of in formation and entertainment. Some of the exhibits are genuinely spectacular. Located next to the market and with a charge of 2 Euros entrance this is great value for money. We really liked the way the multi-lingual signs, the stunning examples of Neolothic art, the roman and Gallic galleries. An excellent museum and a must
